Cannot translate file object eg pdf incl file in LinguaPlone

Hi

Am a newbie using LinguaPlone for translations on a site with English
and Portuguese material.

The installation consists of:
- Plone 4.0
- Zope 2.12.10
- Python 2.6.6 (r266:84292, Oct 14 2010, 19:50:06) [GCC 4.3.2]
with:
LinguaPlone 4.0.1

The site contents is complete in English, but has Portuguese
translations where possible for articles and resources. I amworking
through the English site, translating contents using LinguaPlone
wherever I have Portuguese versions of the contents available.

I find the 'translation-process' quite easy and intuitive, but have
run into what seems like an anomaly in the usage pattern, to me. There
is a section containing resources in the form of downloadable pdf's. I
can translate the 'Title' and 'Description' of the file instance, but
cannot replace the English pdf with a Portuguese one? It would have
felt more in keeping with the usage-pattern if I could 'replace' the
pdf-file with the Portuguese one at that point.

Am I correct in assuming that for this specific use case, I should:
- switch to Portuguese
- create a new folder for the resources (in Portuguese)
- add the resource file afresh

and that I am not missing something in LinguaPlone's current functionality?
