Plone as an offine application

After reading this (interesting) article about offline web application,

I did some trying to get this to work with Plone.
Straight documents seem to work, but different views seems to be a problem

Has anyone done any test with this ( html5 manifest and app-cache)

Also:
As far as I understand: a change in the cache-manifest requires all files to be downloaded aging.
IS this true, or is there a way around this ?
