I do not know about the details of "EasyNewsletter".

The "normal" way it to hand over mail messages to a mail server
and let it handle all the details of the mail delivery.
Should "EasyNewsletter" go this way, it has no real knowledge
of the "delivery status" -- as the delivery is handled by
the mail server.

The mail server, too, usually lacks precise knowledge of the
delivery because it, too, works together with other mail servers
and once it has handed over the message to one of them, it loses control.

Newletter delivery systems usually have some way to capture error
messages created somewhere in the delivery chain to be able to
act on systematic problems (invalid email, email no longer valid,
spam barrier, etc.).

You may need to look at the source.
