Hi all,

I've got a Plone 4.2.7 site with Products.TinyMCE pinned to 1.3.4.

It seems that it's not possible to create links in text areas using IE 11. Steps: Navigate to page, click Edit tab. Highlight text, click link button. Select item to link and click OK. Link is not created, formerly selected text is not selected and the cursor is at the start of the text area.

There are no errors shown in the IE F12 tools, and I found several items on Google referring to IE 11 incompatibility and specifically link creation. Google "tinymce ie 11 link" to see what I'm referring to.

First, I just wanted to verify that there is not a problem with my instance. Can anyone else out there reproduce the problem?

Second, are there any plans to update Products.TinyMCE with a version of TinyMCE (Googling says around 3.5.9) that works with IE 11? Internally I can tell folks to use Firefox or Chrome but that strategy doesn't really work with our wider audiences. Thoughts?
