Thanks, Nathan! The second idea got the Save button fixed, I'll keep awareness for missing js/ajax features. I also put the first idea in place. When I get a chance, I see about using this without the second idea. FYI, I am using Plonetheme Burned without too much heavy modification, though it bears little resemblance to the original.
