PGF send text mails

Hello,

I'm using PloneFormGen and send mail with it's mailer.
By default, it sends out in HTML. Now there were problems with
spamassassin who considered HTML-ONLY mails as spam.

I would like to turn the PGF mail template into something that looks
formatted, but is no html.

I'm pretty far already.

But the problem is "python:field.htmlValue(request)". That, of course,
generates HTML for the content. So in particular for TextFields I get
out something like this.

    <div>blah blah
<br />faor rowh
<br />dflsj0w</div>

Unfortunately, I don't know where I should look to find out about a
function name that gives back the plain value of the field (as ordinary
text) and not its htmlValue.

Any hints are welcome.
