We will give a Plone Training in Munich, Germany on 2. - 6. March 2015:

Mastering Plone 5 Development. A five-day in-depth course about customizing and developing with Plone 5.

During this five-day training we will teach how to

... use the new features of Plone 5 for maximum effect
... customize and extend Plone 5 to make it do exactly what you want
... use the current best-practices to become a Plone superhero

The training will be devoted to Plone-development using the current best-practices like dexterity, plone.api and testing to make developing with Plone fun. It is for people who have some experience using and customizing Plone. Basic Python is a requirement.

In addition to the topics that are already part of the syllabus (see http://plone-training.readthedocs.org) we will add many exercises and the following topics that were not part of a training before:

- Testing: How to test everything using plone.app.testing and robot-framework
- Forms: Building forms and control-panels with z3c.form
- Relations: How to work with relations, the relation_catalog

Please note: Plone 5 is currently still in alpha-state, but we are optimistic it will be in a pretty stable state by the time of the training. The documentation for the training (http://plone-training.readthedocs.org) will be updated in time before the training.

We will give the training as a team of two Trainers. This way you'll receive a 1-on-1 training as soon as something works differently than expected. This is not possible with a single trainer and something that adds a lot of insight when something does not work as expected.
