Yes, Plone is sick, and there is a risk that /5/ will definitely kill it -
judging from the beta - and no one (I mean the clients that may be willing
to pay for it) really does not care any more.
Marketing is not the problem, the major problem with Plone it's the fact
that it is no more a quality product, a captivating solution for the needs
of the potential costumers.
Looking at what Plone was a few years ago, full of promises, and where it is
now, it is a very sad story.
You know what?
Sometimes I've been wondering myself if some of the so called Plone "core
developers" from the past few years, are not in reality "/double-agents/",
paid by other companies just to slowly destroy Plone, and get it out of the
way, so big is the amount of mistakes made.
Either that or these people are just /incompetent/.....
(ok, or naive, maybe?)
