Speaking of plone.org website ...

Plone is supported. There are close to a hundred developers in the Plone
Development Team around the world, and a multitude of companies that
specialize in Plone development and support.

Plone is extensible. There is a multitude of add-on products for Plone to
add new features and content types. In addition, Plone can be scripted using
web standard solutions and Open Source languages.

Got a hundred developers on the team. OK ... I guess we could divert a few
to update the site. It sure seems to me that release 4 and 5 are ahead in
development than version 3.

Same with the extensions. I am not new plone. I came here in 2003 and saw
things I liked but my interests laid with php. I decided to come back and
really give plone a fair shake but with all this good PR talk I thought that
I found the system to bite my teeth in (was looking at django and rails).
The products (applications and extensions) looked awsome until I went to
install some. Behold -- dated products and versions that don't match the
latest version.

Sure, I am complaining about what many of you have fought hard to build. But
please also consider that my comments are being written because I'd like
plone to be even better and more popular.
