It's hard to get the wording of something like that right. I'm sorry you 
took it that way. I know for a fact, René, that you are exactly the kind 
of person we want with contributor access.

I'd prefer to rewrite this disclaimer. It should say still allow us to 
exercise *some* control over contributorship, but the controls in 
reality are a lot less stern than what that text suggests. I've never 
heard of anyone who wanted access not getting it. I can't imagine anyone 
being refused unless there was good reason to believe they'd actively 
cause harm.

I think it'd be better if the disclaimer pointed out that for incidental 
and third party stuff, the collective is the correct place to check 
things in, and doesn't require any contributor agreement. We do want to 
avoid people using the Plone repository (and the plone.* namespace, but 
that's separate) for code that has no chance of being part of "core 
Plone" or being supported by the project. That's just a matter of a of 
guidance, though.
