I have fixed the error in the collective.contentrules.mailtolocalrole
package and released version 1.0. So using that package should help.

Related: this package was already at this url, with releases 0.6 and 0.7:
http://plone.org/products/collective-contentrules-mailtolocalrole/

Apparently this one did not have the distutils id set, because after I
released 1.0, it ended up as a second package in a url with dots instead
of dashes:
http://plone.org/products/collective.contentrules.mailtolocalrole/

Can someone remove that second one? Then I will edit the first package
and upload the new 1.0 version there. All is on Pypi as well of course.

The collective.contentrules.mailtogroup package that plone.org uses
suffers from the same problem, which is as follows. In the secureSend
method (which is deprecated but still works on Plone 4) the default mail
rule from plone.app.contentrules in Plone 3 added a 'From=source'
parameter. This is not needed, as the the source (the from-address) is
passed to that method already. It has some influence on how the
From-header is encoded, but as far as I can see that is a minor
difference which does not hurt at all. With Plone 4 the extra parameter
makes the mail sending crash.

So I fixed that package as well. I cannot make a release though.
Is any of our Goldmund friends reading this list?
