Hi, I'd like to get feedback and some pointers from Plone Web Site Team, especially from those who are administering plone01.sixfeetup.com that host plone.org website. My achievements are: - PloneOrg buildout configuration that is scaled-down copy of plone.orgproduction buildout. - Versions of Varnish and Nginx configurations that enable staging.plone.org at HTTP/HTTPS ports. - Fabric-based script that enables "one-commend" deployment of PloneOrg buildout to staging.plone.org They are described in more detail in comment 40 to mission 11435 (see https://dev.plone.org/plone/ticket/11435#comment:40). At the moment you can reach the live instance at http://staging.plone.org:6021/. Final URL should loose :6021 port part. To finalize my activities I'd need to have my Nginx and Varnish branches merged into trunk and on server itself. While I do have permissions to to this myself I'd like to have responsible administrators to review them first. One of the steps I'd like to have implemented is isolation of staging instance. Proper isolation would involve setting up 'staging' user on plone01.sixfeetup.com. This should not involve more complications then the "zope" user that already exist.
