How about stale listings?

Hi there

In passing I noticed that the thumbnail image for
http://plone.org/support/sites/davao-city-chamber-of-commerce-and-industries-inc
shows "invalid domain".

The site in question shows a placeholder page ("We apologize but the
DCCCII portal is not available at this time.").

1) Should such listings be withdrawn?
2) Are the listings only for live sites?
3) Can the thumbnail service notify us, or the listing author, when
sites go dark?
