I'm not exactly sure I understand what the problem is, but in general,
Silva treats the index.html document (or any other piece of content that
is marked as the default content of the folder) as the default view of
the folder, so that navigating to the folder or the index.html *in* that
folder would have the same result. This is why usually the index.html
document does not show up in the navigation.
