kupu, sorting of image assets

dear developers

kupu destroys my link targets: when i set a target as "_blank" in the 
forms editor it gets transfered into a "_self" target in kupu.

how is the sorting of assets set up? i have the feeling that it is not 
consistent. in the content tab view its alphabetical and in the get 
image reference pop-up window based on modification time. this is a 
little bit confusing.
