kupu: image handling

(silva-1.1.1 all)

did something change with image handling in silva?

i want three images without text in-between vertically aligned; one per 
line/paragraph. there is no problem to set this up in kupu but as soon 
as i save the document all <br> between the images get ripped out 
leaving me with the images aligned in one line.

in the forms editor i have to add an empty paragraph to achieve what i 
want. but as soon as i move over to kupu and save the document the 
empty paragraphs get ripped out as well.

is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?
