XML-Schema or DTD for Silva XML

Dear Silva developers

For an application producing Silva XML (for a subsequent import into Silva) that's about to be developed here at the ETH, I've been asked about the XML schema or DTD defining the Silva XML. I remember vaguely that this issue has been raised some time ago, however, I don't remember the actual state of this issue. The only relevant documentation I found (see http://www.polytech.mat.ethz.ch/silva/documentation/silva_xml_schema) seems a little bit outdated.
