  What are these issues are these? I think a release will be made, if either
Silva is updated to run with Zope 2.8.x (not on the table yet, as far as I know),
or if there is enough public interest (happend just now, it seems).

  Hm ... add pointers to the patch, maybe ;-)

I think keeping in line with the CMF variant is a good idea, as long
as its not adding brokenness. File system ZSQL methods seems not to be in
wide use by Silva and its sisters, so there seems little chance of breaking
something.

  so +1 from me for including (pending review of the patch, of course ;-)
