query about using Silva

Hi, all

I've just started to use Silva and think it would be a great tool for my 
current project. I come across a few questions concerning using Silva. It 
would be great if you could give me some help.

1. It says on the website that the extension Silva External Source "Enables 
the flexible inclusion of HTML" but I couldn't get this work. I have a 
folder or zip file holding all the files of a webpage including a index.htm 
file. When I load the folder, the index.html is treated same as all other 
fles(.gif etc) as a Silva file so I wouldn't be able to edit the content 
from Kupu editor. Is there a way to load html file and  convert it to Silva 
document so that I can edit it. I thought Silva External Source would do it 
but i couldn't figure it out.

2. I have installed it on windows using the installer. I can't see the 
documents I have added to the Silva site from the Silva installation 
directory. I am wondering if there is a way of accessing those documents 
from windows file system/directory, or even upload to a silva file directory 
and the documents would appear on the Silva site automatically.

3. How can I generate an index page (or site map) on my Silva front page or 
a link accessible from Silva front page, so that users can find out easily 
what the available documents currently on the site? Currently only the Silva 
documentation link in on the front page. Do I have to manually add a link to 
the front page everytime i publish a new document/folder?
