Instances of web-manageable objects in Zope like Files, Folders,
DTML Methods, and such have a lifetime of "from when a user
creates them until he or she deletes them." You will often hear
these kinds of objects described as *persistent* objects. These
objects are stored in Zope's object database (the ZODB).

etc span from the time the user creates them until they are deleted.
