Hi Stephan, sorry for the long delay. For my own product development I've abandonded zpt for factory forms for now. It was delaying me just too much. It occurs when you combine refresh/remove/add actions, which I do a lot when I'm fleshing out the interface for a product. > Mmh, maybe we should attack ZMailman from a different angle and > disjoin it from the management-type views and provide the ZPT for all > methods in the root object, so that people can adjust them as they > like via Zope. I've been thinking about that one as well. It would be a trivial thing to do, but perhaps it should be postponed untill after the product has stabilized, or offer it as an option in the factory form or even as an separate option in the management interface. I'm not sure how zope reacts to something like for instance: if not hasattr(self,'manage_view_lists'): manage_look = PageTemplateFile('zpt/manage_view_lists') Mmm, Way cool. Imagine allowing managers to dump the management templates for customization while retaining the buildin defaults as fall-back. > Again, it will be no problem to give you CVS access, if you want to > make changes and develop on ZMailman. Please do. I'm currently working on figuring out a way to reload mm_cfg without having to restart zope as appears to be the case just now. Not even refreshing the product works. I think modifications in the mailman config should be reflected in the zmailman interface without delay. -- ________________________________________________________________ Paul Stevens mailto:[email protected] NET FACILITIES GROUP PGP: finger [email protected] The Netherlands________________________________http://www.nfg.nl
