Compiling problems upon install

Hello everyone,

as you may have seen from the previous posts, I am going to develop 
ZMailman, a Zope implementation of Mailman. Well, I talked to BArry today 
and Mailman 2.1 seems the way to go for further development. However trying 
to compile  (make install) the CVS or the alpha 3 gave me this error:

Compiling /opt/Mailman2.1//Mailman/versions.py ...
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "bin/update", line 46, in ?
     from Mailman import Utils
   File "/opt/Mailman2.1//Mailman/Utils.py", line 34, in ?
     import email.Iterators
ImportError: No module named email.Iterators

Python 2.1.1 (#2, Sep 28 2001, 23:27:19)
[GCC 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81)] on linux2

If the problem has been addressed previously, just send me a private link...

BTW: I probably cross post some messages to the ZMailman list as well. I 
hope that will not upset anyone...
