Cool. As I read this I was actually coding and making the first real
progress. I am almost done mapping the lists now and it is basically a lot
of ZPT/HTML work. I will release actual code in a couple of hours, before I
have to go to class.

What you can do in the meantime?

1. Sign up for the mailing list at
http://demo.iuveno-net.de/iuveno/Products/ZMailman and maybe read some
messages of the archive.
2. Install Zope 2.5.0 beta 2.
3. Install Mailman 2.1 CVS
4. Look at my install. See below.

You can go right now to: http://physics.cbu.edu:6080/manage
I develop there. Username/Password: test/test

BTW, we are collaborating very closely with Barry Warsaw, so most of the
work we are doing is fully accepted and we will be part of the ZMailman 3.0
design. Right now I am focusing on wrapping the existing API and make it
available in Zope, since I noticed that implementing the entire data
structure tree from scratch would be a lot of work (probably wasted), since
Mailman 3.0 will be in anyway designed with Zope 3.0 in mind.... but if we
get the Web-frontend going and write maybe a couple cool products, like a
Mailman User Folder, then we will definitely have reached our goal.

Regards,
Stephan
