I believe middle-ware applications that add new functionality in between the apps are the most valuable. Otherwise dumb-middleware is just an adapter. I have greater expectations for ZMailman to add new capabilities by blending Zope and MailMan. The hybrid capabilities will exist in ZMailman and allow us to add-on new features to ZMailman. ...stepping off soapbox. ;) -Trevor > -----Original Message----- > From: Stephan Richter [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Friday, December 07, 2001 10:14 AM > To: Trevor Toenjes; ZMailman Mailing List > Subject: Re: [ZMailman] ZMailman queuing > > > At 09:33 AM 12/7/2001 -0500, Trevor Toenjes wrote: > >ZMailman is acting as middle-ware anyway, so this might be a valuable > >capability. > > And because of that I think a modified MailHost will be the best. > Basically > we could create an object called "Mailman MailHost".
