I am expecting that only minor changes might be needed. Patches (or 
sponsorship) gratefully accepted, if I dont get to it first.

Some bugs have been fixed in FileStorage, but I dont see that as a fundamental 
convergence between the two storages on their performance/robustness trade 
off policies. FileStorage still hasnt had any serious testing of its 
robustness (http://mail.zope.org/pipermail/zodb-dev/2004-July/007689.html). 
otoh, the FileStorage team have put alot more effort into performance than 
for DirectoryStorage.
