Attempt to run 1.1.14 over PVFS2 instead of 1.1.9

After the last attempt, I figured I would try the latest release
candidate version instead. Unfortunately, it failed also but gave me a
different error message. This validates that indeed, it seems this
doesn't work over PVFS2.
