Yes, it is a DirectoryStorage bug.

This was reported and fixed a while ago, but I never got round to releasing a 
new version.

(I suspected there may be similar bugs to be found.... started looking for 
them using pylint..... the latest pylint bailed out on one DirectoryStorage 
file.... then.... urgh, I forget which distraction came next)
