ZODB For Node.js

A while ago I asked what it would take to create a ZODB forJavascript. The answer came back, proxy objects. As of September 2015, Node.js supports ECMA 6 which includes proxy objects and classes. So could we now create a ZODB for Javascript? Is there a way to do a very small version of ZODB for Javascript? Why is this important? It would be a huge increase in market size. With classes and Proxy objects, Node.js is looking quite reasonable. There are so many databases in the javascript world. I would think there would be a version of persistent javascript.
