I *do* consider it handy if I can go to the ZMI on the Plone Site level 
and have an Undo tab there.  Depending on how you have setup your web 
server (nginx/Apache), you may not even be able to get to the Zope root 
without resorting to tricks like ssh port forwarding.

But then, a Plone XSS hotfix from last year advocates completely denying 
access to the ZMI on Plone 4.

Note: I am mostly using the Undo tab during development on my laptop, 
where accessing a control panel in the Zope root is no problem.
