I assumed, maybe incorrectly, you meant it was exciting in startup. A non-zero exit status indicates an error. If ZEO was exiting with a non-zero exit status, I'd expect to see something in the logs. Also, is supervisord restarting the process? In any case, it's wildly unlikely that the reason for exiting has anything to do supervisord.
