Thank you for the quick and positive reply. ZODB is doing well, and it is time to give it some publicity.

The people I meet know barely anything about
ZODB, Zope2, Zope 3, Zope 4, Five, ZTK, Grok, and Plone, let alone all the wonderful concepts built up on those platforms. Maybe more know Pyramid. Let us publish some useful information. The first slide I would like to see is the ZODB family tree (grove) with dates, relatives and branches.

The Pycon PL proposal deadline is May 31st.

The conference itself is in August 17 - 20

If I am allowed to do two lightening talks at PyCon Prague, June 8-10, then the second one will be on ZODB.

Since contributing content is volunteer work, I do not ask for for commitment to a deadline.

I recall the quote By Philip Ebby:

"Those who have not studied Zope are destined to reinvent it. “ Did I get it right? Google search no longer shows it.

and by George Hegel:
“The only thing we learn from history is that we do not learn from history. “ (paraphrased)

There are so many wonderful concepts I have acquired from this community and use on a daily basis. I would like to communicate them to others.

Maybe we should publish it as creative commons, non commercial. Free to do talks with the material.

What platform do you recommend that we use for the text? For the slides? I already have a bunch of text and LibreOffice slides to contribute.

Warm Regards
Chris
