I am preparing a talk for PyCon Poland on the Zope 3 concepts. So count me into this discussion. This question has to be understood in its historical context. Zope corporation died, Zope 3 withered ZeroDB came along and provide Jim Fulton a job supporting ZODB The ZODB community is growing and people are asking about options. Zope is getting revitalized. The resurrection sprints are surprisingly well attended. People I talk to are really curious about all of these technologies. You have lots of options. The first problem is that you do not know what your options are. The other problem is that you want to learn more about the concepts in the Zope world. Lots of brilliant concepts. You can learn more about Zope here. https://pythonlinks.info/zope <https://pythonlinks.info/zope> And about ZODB here. https://pythonlinks.info/zodb <https://pythonlinks.info/zodb> You may find grok.install interesting. https://github.com/clozinski/grok.install <https://github.com/clozinski/grok.install> And Thierry, it would be hugely interesting to see a list of Zope libraries which are Pyramid compatible. And even better would be to see a discussion of what is not compatible. And of course I would love to see the ZTFY wiki up and running again. There was a lot of useful information there. I would also love to see a list of applications built with ZODB, ZTK, ZTFY, Grok. There must be such a page for Plone as well. Does anyone have that link. I am particularly interested in one man projects which completely outperformed their competitors. Here are my examples PolandTrade.info, PythonLinks.info vs Zeef.com <http://zeef.com/> and GLX.com <http://glx.com/> I wrote the first two by myself, The later companies invested millions of euros and dollars respectively. I am really glad to see this question. As you can see the OP has lots of support. Warm Regards Chris -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "zodb" group.
