Hi Chris, That's not how it should be. Your "web framework" should allow developers to switch from one database system to another without creating conflicting issues with the database design and model. Personally, I developed the django-hotsauce web "toolkit" in order to reduce such constraints on the developer while maximizing its efficiency with non-sql databases like ZODB or Durus.
