Jim, No worries! No async/await for me. I remember what you posted in other discussions and I'm not going to need it here. I was originally thinking I could get away with all operations happening on one process, one Tornado thread. That would mean all data management tools would have to go through that process. In a way that does simplify certain things. But I don't mind setting up ZEO and giving myself additional flexibility if you think that is a significantly wiser approach. Yes, the hack you mentioned will be helpful if it's not too much trouble to share it. So that I can get started on something. I most certainly want to aim at applying your recommendations.
