Event to receive list of changed and not yet flushed objects

Hi,

I've been playing with ZODB for the past week and have a question please

Is there a mechanism by which one could get a list of changed and not yet flushed objects?

What I'm looking to do, is to hopefully

1-Be notified through an event whenever an object is changed
2-Get the list of changed objects
3-Determine whether the number/size of changed objects justifies creating a savepoint to flush the objects from memory
