Jim and I had a chance to chat about this in Belgium.  I think this 
approach, as Jim describes it, addresses around half of the original 
concerns I had.  I'm particularly encouraged by how it addresses the 
problems of Zope product developers, who will have two platforms to 
support for some period of time.  This will let them transition into 
parts of Zope 3.

I realize it's too early to declare success, but I'm quite optimistic 
about it.  Thanks for replying back, Jim.
