[HowToEditPagesWithExternalEditor] Editor not saving back to the wiki

Hello, 
I have been able to get our wiki site to launch an external editor (DreamWeaver).  However, when I save the file in dreamWeaver, it does not save back to the wiki page.  How can that be enabled ?  I keep scouring the web for more information and getting nothing.
