All the preceding sounds great, especially for keyboard control. There's one thing you could add to the preceding: A function to toggle the title-bar, triggered by both an unused button on the mouse, and an unused hotkey. Once that's done, the few times you need the titlebar, it's a mousebutton, mouse gesture, or hotkey away, and then repeat to make it disappear again.
