I am on a recent (couple of days ago) installation of Debian 12 Bookworm
on reiser4. Since Debian does not offer E during the netboot
installation procedure, I selected Debian Desktop and GNOME;
subsequently, I built efl/E, and Terminology from upstream and purged
GNOME and its gdm3 -- opting for xdm, instead.
I have been experiencing frequent crashes, especially playing video with
mpv and or at the youtube site. Accordingly, even though I have
judiciously avoided those operations, sometimes even perusing images,
listing files, and/or building/installing software. I usually recover by
quickly pressing F1 but it, needless to say, it is becoming annoying. I
have a Debian Bullseye 11 on reiser4, too, very stable that I can use if
these issues persist, notwithstanding. Please, find below a pasted
