I tried it with PA Volume Control open on another desktop. Do you have a lot of tabs open in Firefox or a lot of windows open on the desktops? I am thinking that something running in background might have an effect. I have had issues with the cursor disappearing (is that actually what you are seeing?) but I am pretty sure that involves running a dual-monitor setup with a double-wide desktop. It needs a desktop reset (Ctrl-Alt-END) to recover the cursor. -- *Michael H.
