That seems like a bug to me.  If you don't mind, could you send me a
tarball of /var/log/apt* and /var/log/dpkg* from when you installed
enlightenment?  Off list would be best.  Do you have apt recommends
disabled?

I'm also puzzled that missing some xorg packages would cause it to try
to start xterm instead of enlightenment though...
