Reposting this again. The Sourceforge mail list system was rejecting me,
and I had to sort it out with them. Pierre already received the message, but
I thought it could be useful for the E community.

I use diodon on E25 and Debian bookworm. Works perfectly fine.

 Set it up as follows:
 * Settings -> Apps -> Startup Applications. Add Diodon to the startup list.
 * Settings -> Input -> Key Bindings. Choose your keystroke combo (I use CTRL-SHIFT-C).
Set that keystroke to call the Launch:Command action, with a parameter of /usr/bin/diodon

Et voila, you can now use that keystroke to quickly call up the last 25 clipboard entries
you've made. Super convenient! You may want to go into the preferences and enable the
"Use primary selection" and "Synchronize clipboards" options.

I've played around with copyq, but I could never get it to work as conveniently as Diodon.
