Hi all and Happy New Year! Further to this topic... although I get along fine with a conky on a single screen system I find it impossible to get proper placement of a conky at login on a dual head system when the conky is to be placed on the second screen. E Window Remembers and Locks are not retained and although the coordinates in the conkyrc are respected on a single screen setup they seem to get ignored in a dual-head setup and the Conky randomly appears on Screen 1 even if the conkyrc coordinates are written place it on Screen 2. I would guess that E is not looking at 2 screen setups as one large area like other DE's so numbers outside the dimensions of Screen 1 are ignored..? Anyway not a showstopper but enough of an annoyance on dual-head setups that I have given up on using a Conky on those systems..
