Hi all
I have only one request when it comes to fluxbox.
Call it a bad habbit, but I'm running all my software in fullscreen.
I like it, it gives me the most workingplace of all software.
I also tend to get a lot of windows open, even if I use tabbed browsing in
Firefox and uses the same "tabs" with my shell and IM client.
This gives me a lot of "alt-tab" action going on. It's okay, I don't mind. But
what I would like is to be able to popup a smal window, telling me what options
I've godt to "alt-tab" to, you all have seen them in windows and most other
windowmanagers. So when I'm pressing "alt-tab" the window appear, while holding
down "alt" and "tabbing" with the "tab" I can change the selected
window/application and with the release of the "tab" that window/application
becomes the one with focus and upfront.
well, no need to describe the function in detail, you all know what I want I'm
sure.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but why is this not even a behaviour that
the users can select, let say at compile time of fluxbox? Or at least (sorry if
I've missed it) easy to find a solution from a readme og the website.
So, this is for those of you who have used this for a while, please help out a
beginner with fluxbox. Cause I love it ;)
My system is Slackware and latest fluxbox at all times. I don't mind compile
thing from source if that's what it takes to fix this :)
