Perhaps someone on the list who plays those games could do similar checks.

All 0.9.x fluxbox before 0.9.13 had nasty memory problems, which meant it 
tended to use quite a lot. That's fixed in 0.9.13 though...

At this point I'll let someone with DRI working experiment.
