Re: Menu behavior

I have seen this problem in IRC on debian relating to the menu; on
some systems sometimes the menu in your ~/.fluxbox/init does not point
to the ~/.fluxbox/menu  and sometimes even when it does, that menu is
sometimes empty. run the command: $> grep menuFile ~/.fluxbox/init  
this will tell you what menu file fluxbox is reading from. next run:
wc -l ~/.fluxbox/menu  If this number is 0 and the return from the
grep command is this file "session.menuFile:       ~/.fluxbox/menu"
You might try locating the file 'fluxbox-menu' this file should be in:
 /etc/X11/fluxbox/fluxbox-menu run the command: $> wc -l
/etc/X11/fluxbox/fluxbox-menu  the number this returns is normally
pretty high.. over 200 for everyone I have seen in #fluxbox on IRC a
temp fix would be to cp  /etc/X11/fluxbox/fluxbox-menu ~/.fluxbox/menu
