Fwd: Fluxbox doesn't start any more on SuSE

I don't know how to answer your problem, but I will tell you that the fact that "fluxbox" appears in the choices at login doesn't mean anything about the whether fluxbox works or is even there. In login managers like kdm and gdm, there is just a folder or config file that says, "hey, show this choice, and call this program if they click it". When you say you tried reinstalling the program without success, do you mean that fluxbox failed to build, or that it built right but still won't run?
