raster did some tests:

  http://www.rasterman.com/index.php?page=News

i did some more tests under different circumstances:

  http://darkshed.net/files/misc/wm_benchmarks.txt

and i have some more tests flying here around after some more improvements.
so, i dont think fluxbox in general is becoming slower and slower.
there is still room for improvement but general statements like "fbox
on a p4 is slower than on a p3" are not really helpful. a lot of
things have to come together or can be messed up.

for opengl performance: i cant really think of much that can cause
"slowness" in windows that have a opengl-context, nor do i experience
it here on my box.
