Hi,
Today I've been indulging myself in tweaking fluxbox during which I encountered
something I was not able to solve by experimentation, nor from reading the
manpage. So now I turn to you hoping someone on the list knows better than I
do. `;-)
Here's the apps file entry I am using:
[app] (Gecko)
[Workspace] {3}
[Dimensions] {1205 1002}
[Position] {0 0}
[Close] {no}
[end]
This in itself works just fine. But this identifier matches all windows owned
by any Mozilla app, including dialogs and windows opened by thunderbird, not
just the main window for firefox. Hardly what I wanted to achieve.
I tried using the other identifiers found with
$ xprop |awk '/WM_CLASS/{print $3 $4 $5}'
In this case "Firefox-bin", but that won't match the windows at all.
Can anyone give me a hint on how to match the main window of an application,
but not the dialogs opened by it?
Thanks in advance.
Grx HdV
