fluxbox keeps crashing

hi,

actually i'm not sure _what_ crashes. but this doesn't happen when i run gnome.

approximately after 1 hour, i get logged out (presumably X gets
restarted). how can i find out if and why X is getting restarted.

i'm using gentoo linux.
